Join certified forest therapy guide, David Motzenbecker of Motz Studios, on an immersive, meditative, and therapeutic forest walk based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku. We will slow down and connect with our senses to the healing, stress-reducing beauty of Westwood Hills Nature Center and Wayzata's Wood-Rill SNA. We will slip away from our phones and revive our relationship with the forest and ourselves via unique invitations. We will re-enter the tame world, renewed with the gift of nature. Your sojourn into the woods may lead you back to yourself. Guests should wear hiking boots/shoes, clothing/gear appropriate for weather. Bring a water bottle. Walk will still be held in light rain, but not thunderstorms. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to walk. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the immersive nature of the program. Please leave mobile phones in car for duration of walk.
