Our much-loved preschool is part of our district's family of schools -- delivering excellence for each and every student. Preschool classes are inclusive and diverse. The classroom environment is warm and caring. We work closely with each student to ensure they develop the skills and achieve the standards necessary for an easy transition to kindergarten.
All Preschool programs follow the district elementary calendar.
Early Learning School preschool classes run from September 3, 2024 through June 5, 2025. These classes are intended for children who can attend the full school year.
Registering for your first and second choice classes. During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to list your 1st and 2nd choice. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is space in your first choice class you will be placed in that class. If your first choice class is full, you will automatically be placed in your second choice. If both choices are full you will automatically be placed on the waitlist for your first choice class.
Please know that by submitting your registration request, you are not confirmed in a preschool class until your registration has been reviewed and approved by the preschool manager. Once your child has been placed in a class, you will receive emails confirming the placement and notifying you that your credit card has been charged the $75 registration fee.
Students attending Full-Day Preschool must be 4 years old by September 1, 2024. Students who have turned 5 years old before June 1, 2024 are not eligible for Full Day Preschool.
We also have part-day preschool options for children starting at age 2. If you are interested in part-day preschool class options, please choose a class from the Wayzata Early Learning School part-day preschool options.
Please know that by submitting your registration request, you are not confirmed in Rising K's summer program until your registration has been reviewed and approved by the preschool manager. Students attending Rising K's must be 4 years old by September 1, 2023 and must be registered for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.
