Middle School-Girls Softball Camp
Sports and Fitness

DASH Sports Summer Girls Softball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Softballs and bats are provided.

**For students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th and who have participated in middle school band program** Rehearse and perform pop, jazz, movie and patriotic types of music. Sectional (like-instrument) rehearsals for focused practice on concert music as well as best-practices for individual instruments. Group games and team building activities led by summer band staff. Introduction to marching band-style of performance on final day of camp. Held outside in WHS stadium if weather permits. Concert performance on Thurs June 20, 7:00-8:00 PM in Wayzata High School Auditorium. Cost is $139 through May 30, 2024 and $149 after May 30, 2024. Discount is applied in the shopping cart. Transportation is not provided. However, you may indicate during registration if you would like your name shared for carpooling. Please bring your instrument each day. **Registration will close on June 12 at 8 a.m.**
