ABE Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.

Emma Byrd is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Boise State University and a Master's in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music. Emma's practice is rooted in a person-centered, strengths-based approach, often incorporating creative arts and music based interventions into sessions. Prior to joining Relate as a school based therapist, Emma was involved in program development, including as co-director of Rock n'Roll Camp for Girls San Diego, and provided music therapy services to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. Emma currently provides therapy at St. Louis Park Middle School as part of Relate Counseling's school based team.
Kelly Hammon is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She is passionate about promoting equitable health initiatives and supporting diverse communities. She currently provides therapy to adolescents in the School Services Mental Health Program at Relate Counseling Center. She brings a trauma-informed and collaborative care approach to her work with individuals and families, recognizing that each individual is impacted by complex systems and unique histories. She has previous experience in program management, facilitating operations for a national housing program with United Healthcare, and Environmental Education in public schools in the Boston area. Kelly received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Kelly loves exploring the many natural areas, lakes, farms, and gardens Minnesota has to offer with her toddler and husband.
Keely Heiser is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy services for children and families in the School Services Mental Health Program at Relate Counseling. Keely utilizes an eclectic approach of mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and play therapy. She provides unconditional positive regard and highlights individual strengths in a fun way that promotes personal growth. When not in school, Keely enjoys being outdoors, exercising, and spending time with her family and dog.
