    Join this knitter's workshop where students can choose from four projects. You bring the yarn and needles and the teacher, Lara Neel, will bring the patterns and make sure that you have a great time making a project you will treasure or love to give as a gift! This class is perfect for knitters of all levels. If you're confused by the material list or have questions about the projects, come to the first class and Lara will get you started. You can then purchase supplies before the second class. Projects to choose from: 1. Hat (great for beginners) – about 220 yards of worsted-weight yarn, size 7 16-inch circular needles and size 7 double-pointed needles. 2. Slippers – about 380 yards of worsted-weight yarn and size 9 needles, any type of needle is fine. 3. Baby Sweater – about 220 yards of worsted-weight yarn and a set of size 10 needles, any type of needle is fine. 4. There are some areas of the State where the barns are adorned with something called a Barn Quilt. Barn Quilts are pieces of art on the side of a barn, shed, or house that usually tell some sort of story. These places are all visible from the roadways, so once you know about them, you can go check them out! This class is being held online, interactive through Zoom.   • Cook-Along! Homemade Falafel and Mediterranean Wraps

    Have some fun participating in this virtual COOK-ALONG class as we combine the use of the Instant Pot® with conventional cooking to create two wonderfully nutritious and delicious wraps. Choose one for your cook-along, and watch a demonstration of the other or if you like create both! The recipe options for this class are Homemade Falafel and Mediterranean Kebabi Wraps! We will also be making homemade pita bread and sauces all from scratch! We will be using the Instant Pot® for a portion of the cooking process as we create the Falafel. The remainder of the cooking will be conventional. “Kebabi” are a type of “Kebab”. We will be creating our own version of Kebabi infused with mild spices and herbs, shaped in a way you could never imagine! These are all delicious recipes that will become family favorites guaranteed! Make lasting memories in your kitchen if you decide to have your children, your spouse or your partner join you! Minnesota law requires insurance companies to offer you a 10% reduction for three years if you complete this National Safety Council's Defensive Driving course. The course is two sessions of classroom instruction - no driving or test is required. You will receive a certificate of completion to provide to your insurance company.
