ABE Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.

Online Youth Classes
In this class, we introduce students' programming concepts using Scratch©.
Learn to create an interactive 2D video game using your favorite Minecraft characters. Scratch©is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Basic computer skills needed (basic keyboarding and using a mouse).
Scratch© and Scratch© account needed - Instructions will be emailed.
Tech Academy's virtual classes feature engaging interactive instruction in a collaborative learning environment. For each session, students will also be given access to our online classroom, which will feature recordings of the lessons and a curriculum guide with all the steps covered in class, along with instructions for project extensions. To protect students’ privacy, we do not share videos of the actual classes, but we will have follow-along recordings reviewing the instructions and activities done in class.
Home Technical Requirements:
●Computer: PC (Windows 7 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM
Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT Work.
●Internet: Broadband internet
●Webcam
●Microphone and Speakers
●Zoom Installed on Computer
Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard.
