Greg Laden

Dr Greg Laden is a biological anthropologist and archaeologist, with a PhD from Harvard's anthropology department. He studied the ecology of the Efe people (Pygmies) of the Central African rain forest, and has also done extensive archaeology in New York and Massachusetts. He taught at Harvard where he helped redesign his department's undergraduate program, and served as an Anthropology tutor while teaching a range of classes, including the core class for the newly developed Mind, Brain, and Behavior major program. He then moved to the University of Minnesota, where he joined in a redesign of the department's undergraduate program, and worked on the UMN Honors Program redesign. He eventually served on the board and as an advisor for UMN's College of Continuing education, and as admissions director for one of the U's colleges (PIL). Over the last several years, he has been working in K-12 STEM programs, and taught in Northwest University's gifted and talented STEM program. He also authored several test banks for intro college textbooks. He has been working on Chariot Learning's elite college prep test team for the last few years. Dr. Laden has been part of the Wayzata family for some 15 years, in several different capacities.
