We invite you to join us and the Plymouth Police Department for a special celebration - a Valentine's virtual read aloud! Plymouth police officers will be joining from their place of work to share in the reading of books focused on kindness. Enjoy this fun, engaging read aloud with our community helpers. This special event is geared towards preschool-aged students through 3rd grade and will be streamed live on the Wayzata Public School's YouTube channel. PLUS, you can choose to be entered into a drawing to win either a personal family tour of the Plymouth Police Station or the Plymouth Fire Station! Wayzata Community Ed's Literacy Volunteer program partners with the Plymouth Police Department to help elementary students learn to love to read.

Studies show that children learn another language more easily when it is a topic they find fun and interesting. This year's LIVE virtual Vamos series incorporates useful and exciting Spanish vocabulary, culture, and conversation skills. In our ¡Vamos con los Animales! (Let's go with the Animals!) spring course, students will experience imaginary animal adventures with hands-on lessons "visiting" a pet store, a family farm, the zoo, the ocean, and even the rainforest!
