Adult Basic Education (ABE) Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.

Online Youth Classes
Dreaming of trading snow boots for flip flops? This class will walk you through what you need to consider before becoming a Snowbird—from choosing your destination to finding the perfect rental. You'll get a clear overview of the logistics, tips for getting started, and practical advice to make your winter escape smooth and stress-free. Because the instructor is a seasoned Florida Snowbird, much of the personal insight will focus on experiences in the Sunshine State.

Mary is a retired Director of Community Education who teaches a variety of courses for people 55+. Her Snowbird experience dates back to the 1980s when her parents began their own Snowbird winters, sharing them with the instructor and her siblings. Mary encourages class participants to talk with others who are Snowbirds as a great way to prepare for class.
