Apart from cheese and toppings, homemade dough and sauce, are the key ingredients used to create mouthwatering pizza of course! BUT! What are the key ingredients used to make the homemade dough and sauce? HOW MUCH of each ingredient? HOW are they put together to create a variety of magical pizza options? Known as the Pizza Master “Pizzaiolo” in her family and community, our instructor Tess will help answer these questions as she guides you in her latest Pizza class where you will create fantastic FLATBREAD PIZZAS and Pizza Panini from scratch! If you are a part of a pizza loving family, this class is for you!

Take-out Pizza may just become a thing of the past!

On the Menu: Wonderful Flatbread Pizzas, Pizza Panini, and OUT-OF-THIS WORLD Pizza Sauce! TWO of the instructors’ personal recipes for two different homemade doughs will be used. One will be for the flatbread pizzas, and the other for the Panini Rolls that will be turned into pizza panini! The instructor will provide Step-by-step guidance and instruction help to ensure the process is a simple as can be. Participants can personalize their flatbread Pizzas and Panini with toppings and fillings of their choosing.

All recipes have been created by the instructor, and tested time and time again over the years, to ensure maximum flavor and ease. Choose which option you would like to make and watch a demonstration of the other or if you feel up to it, make them both! You will feel like a pro after this class and be confident enough to create all of this deliciousness time and time again.

Make it a date night or family night as you create lasting memories in your kitchen!

Have your questions answered by the instructor, interact with other participants as you cook-along, and increase your confidence in the kitchen.

This class will take place on Zoom, free on-line software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting.

Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and prep. A professionally made PDF packet of the Instructors Personal Recipes from this class will also be received.

As an added bonus, the instructor has created a private group and a public group on Facebook for participants of her cooking classes. Everyone will receive an invite to the groups although joining is optional. Come join the fun!

Equipment Needs: Stand mixer HIGHLY recommended in order to make both homemade doughs. Sheet pans will be used to bake the Panini rolls and flatbread pizza. NO Panini press needed. Two heavy bottom pans can be used in place of a Panini press. More guidance will be included with the ingredient packet.

Note: One registration fee for this on-line virtual interactive class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home ONLY. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

Tess Georgakopoulos

Tess Georgakopoulos, also known as “Chef Tess—Culinary Artist”, has been cooking and baking for well over 45 years since she was roughly 6 years old. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using ones senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was also a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form on the weekends as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with ones own hands and creativity was, and continues to be an expression of love in her home. As an accomplished cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. Sweet, savory, or doughy, she enjoys experimenting and creating in the kitchen daily.

Tess is proficient and experienced in creating classes and curriculum for conventional cooking, baking, pressure-cooking, air frying, pizza making, Mediterranean Cooking, and meal preparation as well. A Culinary Artist indeed!

She has been teaching both in-person and on-line cooking classes through community education for a number of years having worked with over 50 public school districts in and around the Twin Cities, in many corners of Minnesota, in addition to school districts in Wisconsin, Missouri, New York and Arizona. Through her teaching, Tess has helped people of all skill levels increase their confidence and expand their skills in the kitchen reaching heights of their own personal creativity that they never new existed!

Always working towards expanding her culinary repertoire, Tess enjoys spending much of her free time in her test kitchen creating new recipes and reinventing traditional ones using traditional cooking methods and new cooking appliances such as, the Instant Pot® and Air Fryers too.
