Elevate your presence at the table with this engaging dining etiquette session. Learn how to confidently navigate place settings, courses, and common dining dilemmas—while mastering the modern manners that make a lasting impression. Certified business etiquette trainer, Nicki Black, will share clear, actionable tips you can apply at your next business lunch, family celebration, or formal dinner. Perfect for anyone who wants to feel poised, polished, and confident in every dining situation. 

After attending this workshop, you'll:

  • Navigate formal and informal table settings with confidence
  • Understand host and guest roles in business dining
  • Use proper dining techniques, including Continental and American styles
  • Practice key professional table manners—from napkin use to utensil placement and excusing yourself gracefully
  • Make smart choices when ordering in professional and social settings and handle common dining dilemmas with ease

Please note: A meal is not included with this class. Participants will use a bread roll or another substitute item to practice essential dining skills such as cutting and utensil use.

Nicki Black

Nicki Black is the founder of Polished and Beyond LLC, an educational consultancy in Minnesota. With a commitment to the cultivation of good manners and social etiquette, Nicki's mission revolves around instilling timeless yet modern principles in individuals of all ages. She earned a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is certified as a corporate etiquette trainer by Jacqueline Whitmore, Founder of The Protocol School of Palm Beach. Nicki has a wealth of professional experience working with individuals of all ages. She is passionate about helping others excel in various social situations and make positive impressions wherever they go. Whether online or in person, Nicki's classes are known for being interactive, informative, and engaging.
