Online Youth Classes
Get ready to see the world through a new lens—where nothing is trash and everything has potential! In Upcycle Art Lab, tweens and teens will explore the art of rethinking, repurposing, and reinventing everyday items into extraordinary creations. We will also use items from nature to create unique art. This after-school class blends environmental awareness with hands-on creativity, challenging students to push boundaries and think outside the box.
Every session is an invitation to flip everyday objects on their heads and ask, “What else could this be?” Students will:
Scavenge & Discover – Hunt through bins of clean “junk” (think bottle caps, fabric scraps, broken toys, tech bits) and learn to spot hidden potential. We will also utilize classic craft supplies in conjunction with our repurposed elements.
Build Multimedia Masterpieces – Combine textiles, paper, wood, metal, and found plastics into sculptures, functional décor, wearable art, and more traditional crafts.
