2021-2022 School Year
Our much-loved preschool is part of our district's family of schools -- delivering excellence for each and every student. Preschool classes are inclusive and diverse. The classroom environment is warm and caring. Our teachers do an outstanding job of both preparing our preschoolers for kindergarten. We work closely with each student to ensure they develop the skills and achieve the standards necessary for an easy transition to kindergarten.
Our full-day four-year-old preschool and childcare program (formerly known as Bright Start) is operated by Wayzata Public Schools' Community Ed department and coordinated by the Wayzata Early Learning School. The Full-Day preschool program is a curriculum-based program held during school hours and is a 5 day a week program. Registration is for all 5 school days, partial week contracts are not available.
- Children attend Monday through Friday.
- Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- There are sites at each district elementary school and the Wayzata Early Learning School.
We also have part-day preschool options for children starting at age 2. If you are interested in part-day preschool class options, please choose a class from the Wayzata Early Learning School part-day preschool options.
