Babysitter Training Course: Red Cross CertifiedSpecial InterestsSTUDENTS MUST BE 11 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS COURSE. This course is essential for any young person interested in babysitting! Students will learn about child development and handling emergencies, including choking, first aid, preventing accidents, safety, feeding, diapering and more. Leadership and the responsibilities of the babysitter, as well as the expectations of parents and the business of babysitting are also covered. Participants will receive a Red Cross certificate, a babysitter's handbook, a CD and a handy emergency guide. Students must attend both classes in their entirety to receive certification. Summer Lunch BunchSpecial InterestsAre you taking a morning and an afternoon class? Register for Lunch Bunch and make a day of it! Students need to bring a nut-free lunch and water from home and will go out for recess before attending their afternoon classes. Students must be registered for both a morning and afternoon class to attend Lunch Bunch. Students can attend Lunch Bunch only on the days that their morning and afternoon classes are running. When registering for your morning class, please indicate "Lunch Bunch" when asked, "Who will pick up your student?" Students enrolled in full-day classes will be eating lunch with their teachers, and do not need to register for Lunch Bunch. Please wear sunscreen and dress for outdoor play.Youth Classes Summer 2021
