Thriving Together: Empowering Neurodiverse Kids and Reducing Parent Stress

Classes - Adult / Special Interest -
Adult Classes Winter/Spring 2026

Parenting a neurodiverse child—whether ADHD, executive function challenges, or other neurodiverse traits—can feel overwhelming. This interactive workshop will provide practical tools and insights to help parents reduce stress, build confidence, and empower their children to thrive.

Through real-life case examples and actionable strategies, we will explore:

  • How to support time management and responsibility in neurodiverse kids.
  • The role of parental attunement and how it shapes leadership in the home.
  • Essential life skills every child needs before graduation.
  • Common pitfalls and family dynamics when one child is exceptional and others are not.
  • Ways to reframe challenges into opportunities for growth.

Parents will leave with a clearer understanding of their child’s needs, practical tools for everyday challenges, and renewed confidence in their parenting journey.

This program is made possible through funding by the Partners for Healthy Kids grant and the Wayzata Public Schools District Liaison Committee.
