Request a HUG Visit! Wayzata Schools and HUG offer free home visits to all district families from birth to one year old.The visit includes a “Welcome New Baby” gift and current information on community resources, parenting and brain-based learning.The home visits are individually completed with a licensed Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) specialist.

Book Study: "Good Inside" by Dr. Becky Kennedy for Parents of Preschoolers Join this 10-week facilitated book study designed for parents of preschool-aged children, focusing on Becky Kennedy’s Good Inside: A Practical Guide to Becoming the Parent You Want to Be. Led by a licensed parent educator, this study offers a supportive environment where parents can connect, discuss, and explore practical strategies for raising emotionally healthy children. With a focus on understanding your child’s emotions, improving connection, and building a resilient family dynamic, this course will empower parents to approach parenting with empathy and confidence. Participants must provide their own book. Section C will be a continuation for those who attended either of the first sessions. Section D will be a brand new session starting from the beginning of the book. Child care available for an additional fee as space allows.
