February is I Love to Read Month! We invite you to join us and the Plymouth Police Department for a special celebration - a virtual read aloud! Plymouth police officers, a firefighter, and a snowplow driver will be joining from their place of work to share in the reading of some favorite books. Enjoy this fun, engaging read aloud with our community helpers. This special event is geared towards preschool-aged students through 3rd grade and will be streamed live on the Wayzata Public School's YouTube channel. Open this link to be taken directly to the event on the day of: www.youtube.com/wayzatapublicschools Registration is optional but encouraged as you will receive a reminder email prior to the event with the YouTube link. Also, you can share your student's first name and title of their favorite book during registration and one of the special readers may acknowledge them during the program! PLUS, you can choose to be entered into a drawing to win a private family tour of the Plymouth Police Station or Plymouth Fire Station. Wayzata Community Ed's Literacy Volunteer program partners with the Plymouth Police Department to help elementary students learn to love to read.
