Adult Basic Education (ABE) Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.
Wayzata Kids is a school-age childcare program.

Online Youth Classes
Join Monica Bryand for Birding 101! Monica has been a birder for over 25 years and is the Executive Director of the Urban Bird Collective (UBC) and a board member of Hawk Ridge and the Saint Paul Bird Alliance. Monica will go over some of the main groups of birds you will see during the Spring migration and where to find them. You will get the basics of warblers, sparrows, ducks, shorebirds, raptors, and woodpeckers, among others. You will learn some of their habits, common calls, and tips on using binoculars and useful apps.
While she will identify many of the Twin Cities seven-county metro hotspots, she will also share information about Minnesota’s special areas in greater MN, including Sax-Zim Bog, Hawk Ridge, State Parks along the North Shore, and others.Youth ages 12-17 may register and attend with a registered adult.
The first class session on April 23 will be in a classroom setting at Wayzata Central Middle School. The second class session on April 30 will take place at Wayzata Wood-Rill SNA.
