Online Youth Classes
Come and learn the exciting game of Ultimate Frisbee. Minnesota is home to the largest youth ultimate league in the nation. Come and find out what ultimate is all about. We will teach all parts of the game: throwing, catching, cutting, defense, and rules of the game. One aspect of ultimate that is different from other sports is its focus on Spirit of the Game, essentially respect for each other and the game which will also be emphasized. If you are not familiar with Ultimate it is a continuous game similar to soccer, scoring in endzones similar to football using a frisbee to complete this task. Campers should dress in active clothing with the day's forecast in mind. Specifically they should bring soccer/football/lacrosse cleats or a good pair of tennis shoes. A hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and snack are all recommended. Players of all abilities are welcome to come learn or advance their ultimate game.
Brent has been playing ultimate since 1999. He coached the Wayzata Wabbits high school ultimate frisbee team for 5 years. He is a current PE teacher for Wayzata Public Schools. Greg still participates by playing Grand Masters club Ultimate with Surly Ultimate. Last year he was able to help his team win the world championship in Limerick, Ireland.
