ABE Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.

Join us at Wayzata Beach as we learn to take memorable pictures of our families and make beautiful portraits using nature as a backdrop. Professional photographer, David Sherman, will demystify the rules of exposure (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) and how to take control of your camera – be it a DSLR, point and shoot or cellphone. Learn how to stop taking and begin making pictures.
David Sherman is a portrait, sports and editorial photographer with over 20 years of experience. He is the NBA Team Photographer for professional basketball teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx, Sherman has produced striking imagery that has been published internationally.
A professional photographer since 1992, he serves as House Photographer for Target Center. David is highly regarded by professional practices, businesses and publications for his professionalism, his artist's eye and ability to masterfully draw out the true emotion and energy behind his subjects.
In 2010, David established Transfer of Memory, a touring exhibition of portraits and accompanying stories of Minnesota’s Holocaust Survivors. The project is now available as a coffee table book.
