ABE Early Learning is for children that have a parent/guardian attending ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes at the Wayzata Early Learning School. Parent/Guardian must be onsite for children to attend.

Online Youth Classes
Who are Muslims and what are their core beliefs? Understand Islam's 6 Articles of Belief and 5 Pillars of Faith including Shahadah (declaration of faith), Salat (daily prayers), Zakat (Obligatory Poor due), Sawm (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). How does this belief system guide the day-to-day lifestyle of a Muslim? What are the similarities and differences compared to American Culture? Hear how a lack of knowledge about these beliefs is sometimes misrepresented by western media as well as extremists in the Muslim world and western world. This class is designed to be educational and allow for open dialogue and Q & A. We will provide a light dinner for attendees. The food will include veggie and cheese pizza options and water bottle.
IMRAN JANI, Originally from India, came to USA in 2005 and in MN from 2015 and finished his bachelors in computer science in Chennai, India. Imran is working as a project manager in IT. He was raised in India. He is quite involved in many volunteer opportunities including offering Know your Muslim neighbor classes around twin cities, sharing information about Islam in county fairs and state fair. He is involved with Building blocks of Islam for past 6+ years.
MASHOOD YUNUS, originally from Pakistan, came to MN/USA in 1992 and finished two bachelors in electrical engineering and computer science from Mankato State U. He was raised in United Arab Emirates. He is quite involved with many volunteer opportunities. Mashood has been teaching Arabic locally for 7 years besides occasionally teaching Islam 101.
