    Forest Bathing - Shinrin Yoku

    Experience an ancient wellness practice being rediscovered anew in the 21st century. Join us on an immersive, meditative, and awe-inspiring Japanese forest bathing experience (Shinrin Yoku). Feel how nature’s fractals, sounds, and sensations reduce your stress and anxiety, and enhance your focus. Give yourself permission to slow down and connect your senses to the healing beauty of our metro area’s green forested spaces. All participants must sign a waiver of liability prior to the walk. Guests should wear boots/shoes, clothing/gear appropriate for weather. Walk will be held in the rain and snow, but not thunderstorms or negative temperatures. Please wear/bring mosquito/tick repellent and sunscreen if desired. Please bring water if you would like to have some available throughout the walk. DAY OF WALK: Please arrive at walk location 15 minutes prior to walk to allow for check in and walk overview. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the immersive nature of the program. This is a TECH-FREE experience, so please leave mobile phones in car for duration of walk.

  • Group Hypnosis for Weight Loss and Healthy Eating

    Control your eating habits and stop cravings. Learn to desire the right foods. Get motivated to exercise and drink more water. Hypnosis is effective, relaxing, and you will be in control at all times. Fee includes a CD and lifetime membership card for reinforcement which allows participants to attend future seminars free, if desired. Bring a pillow, blanket or bean bag chair for added comfort. Students also interested in Stop Smoking, Chewing Tobacco, or Vaping with Hypnosis must register for both classes.     If you currently take thyroid medication but are still gaining weight and still have a variety of symptoms, there's more you need to know. In this workshop, we’ll discuss how thyroid function can make any illness worse; the 5 things that need to be measured, but usually aren’t; why the #1 thyroid replacement may not be helping you; connection between thyroid, fibromyalgia and arthritis; foods that help or hinder; commonly misunderstood rules of how and when to take thyroid meds; environmental triggers and info you need to discuss with your doctor.
