Some spare parts will be available for student use and class handouts will be provided. This class is intended for those with little or no experience. You will first create a drawing, learn how to transfer and carve the drawing into a lino block and then use printing ink to print the design onto your tote bag, making it completely custom.     Enjoy this 3-hour class where you will follow the step-by-step instruction in the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet oil painting technique. The relaxed atmosphere will teach you how to use all the equipment to paint mountains, trees, bushes, lakes, rivers and sunsets. You will walk away with your own Bob Ross replica painting on a 20x16 canvas that you may keep for yourself or give as a gift. Come and learn the basic of this easy-to-play, beautiful and soothing instrument in an one time, small group lesson format. Students will learn how to read the numbered musical notation, jiǎnpǔ (简谱); brief history of guzheng; and learn a simple song or more. Everything you need (guzheng, plectrum and music) for the lesson will be provided by the instructor during the lesson. You can also bring your instrument if desired.   • Home Electrical Repair I & II

    Week 1: Learn about basic electrical home repair in this introductory class. We will review the home electrical system, different types and gauge of wire, application and safety. Proper techniques discussed for stripping wire, attaching to outlets, switches and light fixtures, as well as test equipment. We will compare different light bulbs and proper selection of LED light bulbs. There will be a demonstration how to rewire a lamp and repair extension cords. Bring straight and Phillips screwdrivers, long nose pliers and wire stripping pliers to class if you have them. Week 2: You will install single pole and 3-way switches, outlets and light fixtures to energize a light bulb and test the circuit. We will discuss proper installation of different light fixtures and ceiling fans. Please bring your Electrical Repair Study Guide book to class, along with your wire stripper, Phillips screwdriver, and long-nose pliers if you have them. Handouts and Step by Step Guidebook to Home Wiring is included with the class.
