Wayzata High School students were invited to meet with representatives from a wide variety of businesses, community colleagues and specialty schools at the 6th Annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Showcase on Friday, April 19. This year, representatives from more than 100 local and state-wide organizations attended the event.
Zack Carlson-Giving, Wayzata High School Choir Director, was recently invited to conduct the MN American Choral Directors Association (ACDA-MN) Honor Choir. He conducted a group of 130 seventh and eighth grade students who auditioned from around the state to earn a place in the CTB (Cambiata, Tenor, Bass) Honor Choir. They rehearsed all day and performed a concert at St. Michael-Albertville High School on Saturday evening, April 6.
Ten Wayzata High School students were recently honored for their exceptional technology skills, interests and aspirations. The Minnesota Aspirations in Computing Program (MNAiC) selects nominees from high schools throughout Minnesota.
