ReadingWiz Elementary Series
A year-long program, ReadingWiz emphasizes building literacy skills and a solidification of knowledge that helps students excel in a gifted peer group. The program integrates the rich content of both reading and writing.
Practice is key in the ReadingWiz program. There is a high emphasis on developing critical thinking and analysis.
ReadingWiz web-work component is an adaptive personalized learning solution that helps students achieve their full potential as writers - no matter where they are on the ReadingWiz learning path. Integration of web component addresses language and writing for grades 2-6. The web-work component also helps students become better writers. It leverages adaptive technology and a student-centered, personalized learning model to tailor instruction, accelerate learning, and empower every student to be in charge of their own learning. It uses groundbreaking writing analysis technology to provide students with immediate, error-specific feedback on their sentence and paragraph composition, keeping them actively engaged, writing more, and continuously improving.

This program provides students with a richly personalized path through the curriculum, delivering precisely what each student needs to accelerate their learning.
Class will be held in the Media Center.
$29 registration fee due to instructor first night of class. The $29 registration fee is not refundable.
Please note, if your child needs to withdraw from the program, we must have notice by the 1st day of the current month for withdrawals effective the first of the upcoming month.
Instructors are supported by high school and college students for more individualization and small group work.
This course does not qualify for the 5% registration discount.
