Babysitter Training Course - Red Cross Certified

STUDENTS MUST BE 11 YEARS OR OLDER TO TAKE THIS COURSE.

This course is essential for any young person interested in babysitting! Students will learn about child development and handling emergencies, including choking, first aid, preventing accidents, safety, feeding, diapering and more. Leadership and the responsibilities of the babysitter, as well as the expectations of parents and the business of babysitting are also covered. Participants will receive a Red Cross certificate, a babysitter's handbook, a CD and a handy emergency guide. Students must attend both classes in their entirety to receive certification. Students should bring a doll to both classes, and a pencil, along with a nut-free lunch, snack and bottle of water.
