Like sushi, pho and taco, The popularity of Chinese Steam Buns is on the rise. You can find them now in Costco and Trader Joe’s. You probably saw them made on Andrew Zimmern's TV food show. Now you can learn to make homemade Chinese Steam Buns -- freshly steamed, chewy-soft and filled with fragrant roast and spices. Come and join us and learn how to make authentic Chinese steam buns that are filled with juicy ground pork and encased by spongy, slightly chewy dough – a fun and remarkable cooking experience. Supply fee of $15 will be collected at class. Please bring a food container with you to the class.
Jane earned her Master Science in Food Science from University of Wisconsin and also has many years of experience in product research and development in the food industry. She has an enthusiasm in cooking as a hobby. She would like to share her interest with others. She operated a tutoring center teaching over 500 K-12G students in the Twin Cities areas for more than 3 years. She’s currently teaching with several school districts community education programs and enjoys the work a lot!
