Woodworking

The DIY movement is gaining steam. Help your child become a part of it by joining the Woodworking Summer Camp. Projects include: tic-tac-toe game, book holder, small storage box and baseball bat and ball hanger. This camp  follows four basic principles:

•Teach It!…Students are taught measuring, cutting, hammering, painting and more basic carpentry.

•Practice It!…Students practice those skills on basic and intermediate projects.

•Build It!…Each day students work on their projects and add their own sense of creativity.

•Own It!…Students showcase their projects on the last day of class (family and friends are invited), then take everything home with them to use or showcase everyday!

Sign up today to THINK, LEARN and PLAY WELL.

SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY. No power tools will be used in class.

NOTE: Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools.

Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.
